My picks this year:

Beija Flor, Andrew Bird, Calexico, Consonant C, Julie Doiron, Great Lake Swimmers, John Wort Hannam, Kara Keith, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Weakerthans and Woodpigeon! Lots of great Canadian content!

The CFF has so many amazing things about it, you just cannot beat sitting on the grass, sipping a bevi and watching your favourite band from 5 feet away. Plus, you also get the chance to talk and meet those whose pedestals you light candles for. I have been 1/2 a foot away from Leslie Feist, meet The Cape May and joked about rock start drug use (which none of us advocate FYI) and shook hands with Kris Kristopherson, and that was all last year. What’s up!
